Hi There, I’m a momma to my littles who are courageous and brave and strong and kind and smart and wonderful and loved. I’m not perfect, no one is. I do what I can, as Geraldine my wonderful counselor told me seven years ago. Her words hold true and I do what I can each day, sitting on the couch, or folding laundry, or doing dishes, or just loving them where they are at.

My sweet husband holds us all together like glue and I am so thankful for his presence in our lives. We are musical and I have a wonderful little album out called Grace by Daisy Drewes full of words about forgiveness (mostly for ourselves, as we have to live with ourselves) and about love and what it means to have hope in our lives and let that fill us.

Some days are hard, and I’m learning to call those the tired eyes days that we are gracefully allowed to have. Our loved ones help us through, and then we pick back up again with God’s grace and love and kindness, and find his strength within us to love and care for others.

All my goodness comes from Jesus, who gives me all I need as I trust in him. All my naturalness comes from me, the way God made me and I am so thankful for his grace which covers all my hurt both caused and given, and frees me to live in his perfect love and grace which casts out all my fears.

As I say in my song Grace, “I’m not afraid of everything, just everything that scares me,” I am constantly learning how to live out faith, that God sees me and that he holds me through the hard times, that he forgives me for the wrong times, that he sees me and knows me and holds me and cherishes me and loves me absolutely each and every day… because I’m his. And you’re his. And he loves you, forever. You are loved. I love you too.

Sometimes as mommas and young adults and beautiful loved daughters, we gotta take some time for ourselves and enjoy some time with our mommas and sisters and friends and know that we are known and loved.

Arriving at Brian’s studio felt unreal. Despite my research on how to prepare, I was unprepared for the feeling that would overtake me when I arrived inside and the knowledge that I would have to sing. I buckled up with Jesus and saddled in and trusted amazing Brian and his team and found strength, grace and change to be able to do this thing. Amazing opportunity and completely terrifying, but we did it!
Brian told me to pose for the camera and told me all my fans were waiting outside for me and he was guarding the door. When we were recording, Brian told me just close my eyes, no one is here, enter that place that your Spirit is creating, and just worship.
Brian was absolutely incredible to work with and made me feel like an absolute princess taking care of me and guiding me through the whole process. He gave me so much peace and treated me as though it was the best day of his life getting to work with my simple melodies, piano and songs I’ve written, turning them into something more than I ever knew possible.

Thank you for allowing me to share my precious experience with you. I look forward to sharing more and hope so much that you feel encouraged, you are making a difference in everything you do, and you are so incredible loved.
